Barrette Sizes- a buyer's guide       XS (40mm) Approx. 1-1/2" long   Maiden America's smallest and best-selling barrette size.  Perfect for small amounts of very fine hair.   SM (50mm) Approx. 2" long   This size is a bit larger than the mini.   Ideal for larger amounts of very fine hair.   MD (60mm) Approx. 2-1/2" long   Slightly larger than SM, it's great for keeping hair up and out of the face.   LG (70mm) Approx. 2-3/4" long   Holds a lot of hair.  We do have a 'jumbo' size but you'll need to email a special request, as not all styles adapt easily to the extra large size frame.   Maiden America's UNBEATABLE non slip hair clips can hold even a tiny amount of "puppy fine" hair.  For maximum hold, center the hair in the barrette.  A general rule for all barrettes is to fill the barrette just to capacity (but not overly full).
